My comment.

1) Sammul and Harjot's King Tut.

I think it was kind of funny at the first part but it still give us important information. They didn't really talk and give information like other group did. = 87%

2) Ashika and Alvin's Queen Nefertiti.

They had really good information but it was kind of boring and they speak to fast I could not hear the information. = 85%

3) Maria and Andrea's Ramses II.

I think it was very good because they had many informations (But they were talking too fast.) and their I-moive was also very creative. = 93%

4) Kennedy and Stephanie's Queen Hatshepsut.

I liked it because the information was good but the problem was that your picture was not clear to see, including sources. =83%

Imove reflection

My partner was Pasha. I will tell you about him simply. He ask me first if I want to be partner with him, so I say yes... But after I said yes, I was kind of angry at him because he was talking and he didn't work! When teacher came he started to work. He also did the same thing has the rest of the time. He also help other group and when I saw him, he looks like he putting more his effort on it. I was kind of surprise. I think I am being mean but the truth is that pasha only wrote half of the script and do only two more lines. That will be the bad thing but he did a good job.

The good thing is that he realize that we didn't had much time at the last day that we had. So we work as fast as we could and ended up with finishing the script. But I needed to change the script half up it because it didn't make sense. But I think we had a good teamwork.

I think we did pretty good job then I imagine but not really good. I hope he do his best the next time who ever his partner is.

2) What would you improve for future presentations/projects?

I think I have to put more information and say clearly to your audience. When I was doing the presentation I was to shy and I also notice that I didn't type some informations so I was thinking I could've go over at least once before the due date. I also got kind of surprise and shy when one of my audience laugh at my mistake. This was my second that I'm thinking I need to think before I write. I really learned many stuff that I needed to improve a lot more. I also think I could've put the fun facts too because I could've got extra point. But I think I kind of did a good job of doing filling up the history space even I didn't have my city history. So I'm thinking as at next project I should put more details in it, I should not be shy, I should also speak clearly, I should check after I'm finished, and maybe I could put more slide in it.

my learning style...

1. I learn best when I feel happy or when I kind of know something on what we are learning I feel proud of me and I talk like I'm showing off. I also liked the way when it is organized.

2. I need to see some example to do better in my work because when I see examples, I'm sure what I am suppose to do.

3. The strategies that would help me in my learning will be the explanation because I am weak at vocabulary. 

4. I would like my teachers to know this about me that I am a slow learner and I like organized learning style.

my goal....

 I saw this dig lizard when I been to club med. I saw thousands of them. It was also kind of scary.

I saw this while I was riding the train to go to the ocean. I was thinking that lizard was hard to see but when I arrived to the ocean, I saw thousands of them.




I wish I could make more friends in the school and I also with I could work harder and go out from ESL(EAP). I also wish I could lose my weight so people don't call me fat or think that I'm fat.  I think I really need to work on every thing to get better.

I'm have to really work hard to reach this goal so I'm going to do my best in 2011!!

Collaborate Constructively

1.The benefits of working with a classmate.


I think working with classmate is a good idea because you get to discuss your passage and classmates help me to get better. When I hear some ones passage I get to think like 'That is good idea' or I go like 'I don't think so' and start to say my opinion. This also help Think Creatively and Reason Critically which is other two SLRs.


2. Challenges / obstacles which you overcame (tried to overcome).


I try to overcome my problems that I have. Every times when I do literature circles I always think that the book is not easy for me(doesn't mean is to hard.) and we have only one week to read that chapters that isn't short. The other problem is choosing the passage that is important in the story. For me every passage is important for me so is hard to choose one.


3. New understandings that you gained about the novel.

I don't think that I really gained the novel that much but I think I could the novel better than the last time and I also think and hope that my passage got better than the last time.

Literature Circle Reflection

1. When I discuss the novel with my friend some time I also get to realize the story or I hear some facts that I didn't know. Most of the time My group have better hypothesis for the story then me.

2. I didn't really did the connections when I discuss with my group but most of time I told them the word choice or if that doesn't make sense.

3. I think for the Hatchet (which is book that I'm reading) Barin will survive in the forest by him self. and I think His parents will live together again.
